Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse (RN) position located in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized care in a cardiovascular unit performing procedures such as angioplasty and stenting. The nurse will work day shifts supporting a team of clinical staff in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Kansas nursing license; active Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; at least 1 year of current acute care hospital Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) registered nurse experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Mac Lab experience; Meditech experience
• Additional Information: The unit has 4 beds with a staffing of 12 members, including 2 traveling nurses. The team handles cardiac drips, angioplasty, and stenting procedures. The unit operates with a 1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Typical equipment includes Phillips fluoroscopy systems. The schedule involves on-call responsibilities with 1 night and 1 weekend per month. The unit boasts recent updates with new technology and experienced staff who foster a collaborative environment.
