Medical Reviewer/Safety Reviewer III - Scientific Content and Medical Affairs Review
Location: 100% remote. Candidates must be located in the US and able to work without visa sponsorship.
Length of Assignment: Through December 31, 2027
Pay Rate: $45-50/hr (depending on candidate location and benefits preference)
Schedule: Part-time, Monday-Friday; flexible schedule with an estimated average of 15 hours per week. Hours may increase or decrease based on business needs and review demand.

- Review scientific, clinical, and medical materials for accuracy, balance, and appropriate interpretation of clinical data. \n
- Evaluate complex clinical study results, publications, and data analyses to support informed decision-making. \n
- Provide medical and scientific input on promotional and non-promotional materials. \n
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Regulatory, Legal, and other stakeholders. \n
- Ensure content is supported by scientific evidence and aligned with applicable company standards and industry requirements. \n
- Identify scientific inaccuracies, data-interpretation concerns, or compliance risks and recommend appropriate solutions. \n
- Communicate medical and scientific concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. \n
- Participate in ad hoc review projects and support business priorities as needed. \n
- Maintain attention to detail while managing multiple reviews and competing priorities. \n

Qualifications: I. Required Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Strong medical and scientific background, with the ability to evaluate and communicate complex medical information. \n
- Experience interpreting complex clinical data, including clinical trial results, publications, and real-world evidence. \n
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, nursing, or a related healthcare field; PharmD, MD, DO, PhD, PA, NP, or an equivalent qualification preferred. \n
- Pharmaceutical industry experience required. \n
- Demonstrated attention to detail and sound scientific and professional judgment. \n
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage workload effectively. \n

- Previous medical review experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare organization. \n
- Experience supporting Medical Affairs, Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) review processes, or similar review functions. \n
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations for scientific communications. \n
- Prior experience working as a medical reviewer with the hiring organization. \n
