Job Position: Production Manager

Location: FAIRVIEW, OR

Pay Rate: $80-85K/Yr

Shift: Day

Description:
• Manage assigned functional area(s) for productivity, financial results (P&L), safety, quality, reporting
o Ensure production in assigned area(s) is functioning properly
o Monitor area performance to goals- obtain data, analyze, and report including production board information as available
o Accountable for ensuring all processes and procedures are properly implemented to ensure efficient, reliable, and effective department functionality
• validate maintenance is performed and documented
• safety program compliance
• QMS program compliance
• Managing and enforcing organization of area (5S/6s)
• Balance work throughout all stations/areas and throughout the process steps
• Ensure documentation is available and utilized
• Ensure training conducted, documented, and updated for all employees
• Know and enforce company policies and procedures
• Ensure employee needs are identified and addressed
o Know customer requirements and verify adherence of production to the requirements (quality)
• Know and understand all relevant KPIs for functional area
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with other functional areas to ensure success of the business/branch
• Contribute ideas and propose solutions (continuous improvement, problem solving, ect.); ability to enact change within organization (department) effectively
• Adjust training and management style to operator style to ensure effectiveness
• Identify and develop talent in employee pool, coaching and providing guidance as needed
• Ensure employee attendance/time-off records are properly maintained
• Additional job specific responsibilities, skill sets, and experience associated with the function/department (e.g., operations, transportation, inventory, ect.)
• Other duties as business needs
