Nursing Director - Home HealthA home health agency in Fair Lawn, New Jersey is hiring a Director of Nursing (RN) to oversee clinical care standards and lead the nursing team. The role manages nurse supervisors and care partners, ensures regulatory compliance, develops operational policies, and reports directly to the CEO.Schedule: Full-time, on-site in Fair Lawn, NJ. Availability via phone during designated Agency On-Call hours, with home visits as needed.Compensation: $95,000 to $110,000 base salary, based on experienceWhat You'll DoCoordinate the delivery of home care services in line with agency philosophy and clinical standards, and actively monitor the clinical status of all clients. Manage nurse assignments to client visits, oversee the per diem nurse supervisor budget, and lead hiring activities including interviewing, orientation, and competency testing. Evaluate nurse supervisors and care partners. Perform client assessments as needed, including initial assessments, monitoring visits, reassessments, and discharges.Develop and coordinate the agency's in-service training program, including bringing in guest presenters and delivering educational content directly. Maintain compliance with local, state, federal, and HIPAA regulations. Coordinate with community agencies to support continuity of care. Communicate with clients, families, and care partners. Provide phone guidance and conduct home visits during designated Agency On-Call hours.Required QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing issued by the New Jersey Board of NursingBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or other health-related field, with 2+ years of professional RN experience in community health or home health (or 3+ years of progressive RN experience in community health or home health in lieu of a BSN)Direct experience providing nursing services in a patient's home or assisted living environmentAbility to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standingStrong organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skillsComfortable being on-call by phone and conducting home visits as neededPreferred QualificationsPrior leadership or supervisory experience in home healthExperience developing in-service training programsFamiliarity with New Jersey home health regulatory requirementsCompensation and Benefits$95,000 to $110,000 base salary, based on experience401(k) with 1% match, eligible from Day 13 weeks paid time off (2 weeks vacation, 1 week sick)Dental and vision insurancePartial medical insurance subsidy for plans purchased through the healthcare marketplaceTo apply, submit your resume through this posting.
