What You'll Do

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will serve as a trusted resource for customers by delivering exceptional service, product expertise, and sales support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales partners to support strategic account growth initiatives for revenue and margin targets.
• Assist customers with product selection, order placement, quotes, and issue resolution.
• Recommend appropriate and/or additional products based on potential customer needs, including sharing awareness of new product offerings.
• Engage with customers regarding inquiries about products, pricing, availability, and delivery timelines in a timely manner.
• Manage customer follow-up activities to ensure satisfaction and identify additional business opportunities.
• Communicate shipping updates, anticipated delays, and order status information.
• Support digital platform sales by maintaining proficiency in customer-facing applications.
• Stay informed on industry and regional trends, competitor activity, and market developments within the building products sector.
• Maintain accurate customer information and sales documentation.
• Support team initiatives and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of sales, customer service, or inside sales experience.
• Building products, millwork, lumber, or construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Basic mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and support sales growth.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Compensation: $55,000 - $80,000 annually, plus commission opportunities based on performance.
