Facilities ManagerAverill Hospitality is seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team. Our customer experience focuses on authentic Montana hospitality that creates lasting memories.Principal Responsibilities And Position Purpose:The Facilities Manager oversees the functioning, maintenance, and safety of the Averill Hospitality facilities and is responsible for supporting the maintenance teams in planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities at all locations.Main Duties And Responsibilities:Supports maintenance, custodial, and grounds teams across multiple locationsDevelops and assists in implementing preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, refrigeration, roof systems, equipment, energy management, and other hotel systemsSupports proactive identification of facility opportunities, issues, and risks through analytics and management routineAssists in coordinating projects such as renovations, repairs, and equipment upgrades within budget and time constraintsEnsures compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulationsSupports regional strategy and performance goals, aligning with corporate leadershipCoordinates with property managers and staff to address operational issuesMonitors budgets and expenditures for maintenance and projectsMentors and coaches property level staff, ensuring team performance aligns with organizational goalsEnsures uninterrupted operation of critical building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, transportation, fire/life safety, building automation systems, utility infrastructure, and support systemsAssists in researching and negotiating with vendors for cost-effective solutionsConducts inspections and quality reviews of maintenance work to ensure facilities meet safety, operational, and company standardsSpecific Job Knowledge, Skills, And Ability:Ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and over the phone, with staff, senior management team members, and ownership.Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Ability and willingness to adhere to all Averill Hospitality policies and ensure departmental personnel compliance.Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance management, and budgeting.Valid driver's licenseMust maintain a positive influence in the community and positive relations with area vendors.Respectably approaches others, reacts well under pressure, treats others with respect and consideration regardless of status or position, accepts responsibility for own actions, follows through on commitments.Makes a conscientious effort to help minimize waste of products, equipment, and supplies to increase the department's profitability and the entire company.Demonstrates the ability to perform effectively in high-stress environments, adapt quickly to unexpected changes, and manage demanding workloads while maintaining composure, focus, and professionalism.Supportive Functions:In addition to the performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the Owner based upon the company's particular requirements.Participate in industry organizations.Maintain an open line of communication between guests, employees, and management.Assist in any other duties as needed. The Regional Facilities Manager is expected to usually keep a 5-day-a-week schedule but adjust as needed according to business needs; for example, a 6-day week may be required during peak business periods. A work week of up to 50 hours per week can be expected. However, it can be more or less, depending on business needs. Working evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required. Holidays and PTO are in accordance with the AH Exempt Employee policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Typically, PTO will not be permitted during June 15 - September 15 and December 15 – January 5.Notice:Standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to and including 50 lbs. may be required. The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be always projected.
