Pediatric Anesthesiologist

Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Fellowship Trained or Pediatric Board Certified Anesthesiologist to join their team. This community-based non-for-profit health organization performs more than 27,000 outpatient and inpatient surgeries annually and delivers compassionate, high-quality healthcare. The incoming provider will work within a collaborative care team model that provides anesthesia services for over 44,000 cases a year. Practice Info Community based non-for-profit health organization More than 27,000 outpatient and inpatient surgeries performed each year Magnet Recognition for nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center Practice provides anesthesia services for over 44,000 cases a year Consists of 25 physicians and over 70 CRNAs covering two hospitals in the Richmond area Mix of Adult and Pediatric cases, General Anesthesia, OB, Ortho Responsibilities Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and performing interventions as needed Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Compensation Salary: $500K Sign-on Incentive: $100K $10K Per Week for Peds Call Benefits Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Generous paid time off Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Loan repayment & training assistance available Shift & Schedule Mix of general in-house call and home peds call Qualifications M.D./D.O.
