Description

American Traveler is hiring a Special Procedures Technologist for a Cath Lab setting, requiring ARRT certification, Fluoroscopy permit, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience.

Details

• Cath Lab / Special Procedures setting within a hospital environment
• Variable day shift with staggered start times of 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday
• After-hours call required, typically 1–2 days per week and 1–2 weekends per month (approximately every other weekend)
• May float to the CV Holding unit (pre-op/post-op)

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of technical experience, with experience as a Special Procedures Technologist preferred
• Active RT license in the state of practice required; license required if applicable
• ARRT certification preferred
• Current AHA BLS required
• Fluoroscopy permit required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
• Behavioral management certification required: PVMB, TEAM, TEAM-A, or CPI
• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred; Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Must have worked in the submitted specialty within the last 3 months
• 2 supervisor references required — one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
• Candidate's DOB and SSN required for consideration

• Scrubs are provided on-site
• A manager interview will be conducted as part of the selection process
• Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior hit on their license will not be considered
