Environmental Forklift Operator

JSW Steel USA

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Forklift Operator join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently while supporting the Environmental Manager.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
Perform duties related to Environmental Forklift operations.
Knowledge and experience on all heavy equipment:

Bulldozer
Backhoe
Front End Loader
Mobile Crane
Forklift
Dump Truck
Skid Steer

Conduct daily inspections of equipment before and after use.
Work closely with maintenance personnel to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.

Qualifications

Experience operating heavy equipment.
Previous experience as a heavy equipment operator.
Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
Trade school certification or secondary technical training, is preferred

Schedule

Monday through Friday, weekends as needed.
8-hour shifts.
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
