Machine Operator - Razor Wire Manufacturing

Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Includes 1-hour lunch and 2 breaks

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to manufacture razor wire products in a fast-paced production environment. This position requires operating and setting up wire-forming and press machinery, monitoring product quality, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, and operate razor wire manufacturing equipment
• Load wire coils and raw materials into production machines
• Monitor machines for jams, malfunctions, and quality issues
• Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and preventative maintenance
• Measure and inspect razor wire products to ensure specifications are met
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major repairs
• Package finished razor wire products for shipment
• Record production output, downtime, and material usage
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Requirements:

• 2+ years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with wire processing, metal fabrication, stamping, roll forming, or similar production equipment preferred
• Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read work orders and production instructions in both English and Spanish
• Basic math, measuring, and quality inspection skills
• Forklift experience or certification preferred
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and PPE
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work overtime as needed

Preferred Experience:

• Wire manufacturing or fencing production
• Metal fabrication or steel processing
• Industrial machine setup and changeovers
• Production reporting and quality control inspections
