Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab
Profession: RN (Registered Nurse)

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience
License: Active RN license required
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required


Must-Have:
- Prior Cath Lab or Rad Tech experience
- Experience in the Cath Pre/Post Recovery area
- Familiarity with Siemens software and equipment


Description:
The unit has 2 suites/labs with an average of 10 cases per day.
Common procedures include diagnostic left and right heart caths, PCI, IABP, and Impella.
RNs will be responsible for circulating, sedation, and completing documentation requirements in the Cath Pre/Post Recovery area.
Rad Techs scrub and assist the physician, requiring knowledge of sterile techniques.
EKOS experience is preferred, but training can be provided.
Staff members will have on-call duties, available 24/7.
There will be a weeknight and weekend on-call requirement.
Each RN may be required to take one week of on-call per four-week schedule.
Response time for on-call duties is expected to be within 30 minutes.
Surgical attire will be provided.
General hospital and nursing orientation, along with unit-specific training, will be conducted.
