Job Description As a Design Drafter / Engineer, you will support the design and development of tooling used to produce metal stampings. This role bridges engineering and production—translating customer designs into functional tooling, programs, and processes that can be built and run efficiently on the shop floor. Core Responsibilities Create and maintain tooling designs using CAD software (primarily SolidWorks) Develop detailed drawings for new tooling and tool modifications Support the transition and standardization of design systems and software Generate CNC programs and support machining processes Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure designs are manufacturable Interpret customer prints and translate them into tooling concepts and designs Assist in building routers and documentation for production processes Revise and improve existing designs for efficiency, quality, and performance Growth Opportunities Take on increasing ownership of tooling design and development Support continuous improvement and standardization efforts Grow into a lead engineering or advanced design role over time Job Details Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 Hours: First Shift About Winco Stamping At Winco Stamping, we deliver On‑Time, Quality Metal Stampings, and our passion lies in forming metals & relationships!
