As a Direct Support Professional II you will become more than a caregiver for the People We Support. You are a beacon of empowerment, setting the example both in the home and in the community. You will assist the People We Support by creating a variety of meaningful connections, turning daily task into opportunities for growth and independence, while also providing support with personal care routines and medication administration, accompanying them on appointments, and collaborating on preparing delicious meals. Every day is a little different, but every moment is a chance to make an impact.
Schedule/Hours
- Shifts are available on weekdays, weekends, and evenings, with both full-time and part-time opportunities!
- Specific schedules will vary based on department needs and employee availability. Candidates will have the opportunity to discuss their preferred schedule during the interview process.
Location: Oneida and Lewis County
Specific locations include Utica, Rome, Lowville, Glenfield, Marcy, Clinton, Barneveld, Sauquoit, Whitesboro, and Oriskany Falls.
Qualifications
- One year of experience working with people with disabilities is preferred
- Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED
PAY & PERKS
- Pay Rate: $18.50/ hr
- $1,000 New Hire Sign On Bonus within first year
