Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Basic computer and typing skills
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent listening and comprehension skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Background and reference check required

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's degree
Previous high-volume inbound call center experience
Healthcare or medical-related experience

Home Office Requirements

Reliable high-speed internet connection

Ability to maintain a secure, confidential workspace

Pay

Base Pay is $17/hour
+$1/hr shift differentials for evenings (3pm-11pm Mon-Thurs)
+$3/hr shift differentials weekends
+$1/hr for Bilingual English/Spanish speakers

AccessNurse is the premier provider of medical call center solutions, including 24/7 telephone nurse triage, and answering services. In business since 1996, AccessNurse serves more than 20,000 clinicians and practices, along with healthcare systems, health plans and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) across the country. AccessNurse is a TeamHealth Company.

Overview

The Patient Coordinator (PC) serves as the first point of contact for patient seeking emergency and non-emergency medical support from their provider.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

Answer high-volume inbound calls from patients
Provide compassionate, empathetic support using guided scripting
Build trust and ensure a positive patient experience
Accurately document patient information and needs
Prepare detailed reports for nurse triage teams
