Be part of a team and a culture whose purpose is to make lives happier and healthier.ResponsibilitiesWhat We Are Hiring ForOur Group Fitness Instructors are responsible for instructing safe, educational and enjoyable fitness classes and, possibly, private group classes. The ideal applicant has the ability to teach beginner to advanced group classes and will have experience in a variety of class and exercise modalities. Responsibilities include:Provide Services: As the primary or instructor in class, you'll offer proper body alignment, modifications and supervision of fitness classes according to the Canyon Ranch and industry standards. You'll plan routines, chooses appropriate music, and choose different movements/exercises depending on participants' capabilities and limitations. Ensure and practices safe methods while instructing classes.Program Development: Creates and participates in new classes, programs, and lectures to deliver fresh programming for guests and Canyon Ranch Colleagues.Experience with all of the following Hit, Dance, Fitness, Boot Camps, Cycling, Strength Training, Resistance style classes, Abs & Stretching.Currently not looking for Barre, Pilates or Yoga Instructors.QualificationsWhat You'll Need to Be SuccessfulAvailable to work early mornings, some evenings and/or weekendsCPR/AED/First Aid Certified within 90 days of hireNationally recognized Group Fitness Certification (current) & requiredWhat You'll Receive as a ColleagueCompetitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental and 401k for Full Time Employees; Partial benefit package for Part-Time Plus EmployeesYouPlay Benefit – Exclusive access and discounted programs at Canyon Ranch propertiesExciting opportunity to work with a team offering a new business model and brand in Fort Worth, TexasAvailability: This is a part-time position.
