Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to gather information about clients’ history, symptoms, and treatment goals, ensuring that you tailor each evaluation to meet their unique needs.

  • Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions, applying evidence-based techniques to help clients work through issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.

  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ needs and aspirations, regularly monitoring progress and modifying plans based on evolving circumstances.

  • Manage crisis situations by performing risk assessments and providing immediate support, coordinating with emergency services when necessary to ensure client safety.

  • Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions aimed at fostering community and support among participants, educating them on coping strategies and wellness techniques.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans using our secure electronic health record (EHR) systems, adhering to all confidentiality requirements.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in mental health care through ongoing professional education and development opportunities.

  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide integrated care that addresses all facets of clients' well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will directly impact clients from various backgrounds dealing with a wide range of mental health issues. You will provide care to individuals experiencing challenges such as trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and addiction, with an emphasis on building rapport and trust to foster recovery and healing.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Valid licensure as a mental health counselor in Washington State, including successful completion of state-recognized examinations and required clinical hours.

  • A minimum of three years of supervised clinical experience as stipulated by state regulations, demonstrating a solid foundational knowledge of mental health treatment methodologies.

  • A commitment to pursuing ongoing professional development, including participating in relevant seminars or workshops to further enhance your skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and facilitate productive conversations around sensitive topics.

Compensation and Benefits\n
