This is an outbound call center with some selling involved. Customer service doesn’t pay good because anyone can do it. But if you are assertive, competitive, and can handle rejection, you can make a lot of money here. What am I selling? We call various lists to sell free estimates on home improvement projects. Is it hard? Yes and no. Anyone who can communicate can do it. There are two challenges. First, it is a skill that takes a month to master, so where some people struggle is not giving themselves the patience to learn it. Secondly, you will get a lot of rejection. It’s very much like baseball, you don’t have to hit every pitch, just convince a couple of people a day out of the 30-50 you talk to schedule an appointment. The best part is, they don’t even have to buy to earn a bonus. What’s the schedule? We have a few different shifts available. None of the shifts are on the weekend. We have full time and part time available as well. Schedules can be discussed in the interview. Are there benefits? There is a benefit package including health care. Is this straight commission? This is a base pay plus commission position.
