Responsibilities:

• Serves as the technical authority for enterprise data architecture, data warehouse management, repository administration, and data platform modernization supporting ANG CDAO operations
• Designs and maintains secure, scalable data architectures that support data pipeline development, data integration, reporting, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives across multiple Government systems
• Establishes data models, source-to-target mappings, lineage standards, governance controls, and interoperability requirements to ensure data integrity, availability, and usability
• Leads technical planning and implementation activities for Azure Databricks, Palantir Foundry, Advana/Warfighter Data Platform, and other approved data environments while optimizing performance and reliability
• Supports Data Pipeline Development and Data Warehouse Management by providing architectural oversight, technical guidance, and lifecycle management of CDAO data assets

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
• 15+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture and data warehouse management
• Design strategies for enterprise database systems and set standards for operations, programming, and security
• Design and construct large relational databases. Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality
• Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments
• Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge
• Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met
  • Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management
  • Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation
• May supervise others
• IAM Level III certification
• An Active Security clearance is required
