Job Description

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance technician for our client in the Vancouver, WA area. They are a global leader in electric heating and renewable energy solutions, specializing in innovative and sustainable products for residential and commercial applications.


The right candidate will be responsible for repairing equipment and machinery, addressing building maintenance issues, and fabricating parts and components as needed to ensure consistent operations.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs on machinery and equipment as necessary.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and the facility.
  • Build fixtures, jigs, carts, and other items to support production needs.
  • Maintain a working understanding of production processes and equipment to perform maintenance effectively.
  • Apply problem-solving and troubleshooting skills using appropriate tools for analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production management, and external experts as needed.
  • Analyze and repair mechanical systems of equipment under general direction.
  • Maintain an organized work area and maintenance shop, adhering to 6S standards.
  • Lubricate and adjust production machinery following prescribed procedures.
  • Perform basic electrical work, including connecting wires and replacing switches and fuses.
  • Install plumbing, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems by bending, cutting, and threading pipes.
  • Construct simple structures from wood, metal, or other materials as required.
  • Weld, assemble, and fabricate using hand tools, power tools, and welders.
  • Provide routine building maintenance, including painting and drywall repair.
  • Operate industrial lift trucks as needed during repair work.
  • May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Industrial mechanic experience
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Electrical experience
  • Experience with schematics
  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Familiarity with CMMS
  • Knowledge of low voltage systems
  • Welding skills, especially stick welding
  • Technical sales experience in a manufacturing setting
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent education level
Starting Pay: $31/hr


Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5:30AM-4PM
