Make a meaningful impact supporting students and educators as a full-time School Psychologist on a contract basis. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated professionals and foster the academic, social, and emotional development of students. You'll play a pivotal role in conducting assessments, delivering interventions, and partnering with staff and parents to ensure the best educational outcomes.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (state requirements apply)
- Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies
- Dedication to supporting students’ mental health and academic achievement
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological evaluations and assessments of students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families
- Develop individual education programs (IEPs) and participate in eligibility meetings
- Provide direct support and interventions to students individually and in groups
- Contribute to crisis intervention teams and school-wide mental health initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines
