End Date:  09-21-2026

Contract Type:  Travel Contract

Shift Type:  Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 6 weeks at a time

Hours per Week:  36

Candidate Pay Rate:  $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert critical care nursing across MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU patients
• Titrate life-saving drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics
• Interpret telemetry and respond swiftly to cardiac changes
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists to manage vents, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
• Float within the zone when needed to support patients across ICU, PCU, and med-surg units
• Deliver compassionate, one-on-one care for high-acuity patients on CRRT, IABP, and Impella

Qualifications

• Active Colorado or compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years for first-time travelers)
• Epic experience preferred for first-time travelers
• Comfortable titrating all critical care drips and interpreting telemetry independently

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing across mixed ICU specialties
• Drip titration and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Telemetry interpretation without monitor tech support
• Ventilator management and respiratory troubleshooting
• Floating flexibility across ICU, PCU, and med-surg units
