Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week
Local Candidates Required: Yes
Traveler Candidates Required: Yes
Pay Rate: $30 – $32/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists during examinations, treatments, and oral surgical procedures while maintaining instruments, supplies, records, and treatment areas.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Dental Assistant experience.
Current BLS certification.
High school diploma.
Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during patient examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
Seat patients, adjust dental chairs and equipment, and provide sterile draping.
Prepare and arrange dental instruments and supplies.
Hand instruments to the dentist and assist with mouth retraction and suction equipment.
Assist with tooth extractions and other oral surgical procedures.
Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and linens.
Maintain dental examination, treatment, and appointment records.
Assist with taking and developing dental X-rays.
Mix amalgam and other dental filling materials as directed.
Perform duties involving standing, lifting, bending, filing, and typing.
