Required Qualifications:

• Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong understanding of educational evaluations, IEPs, and school documentation protocols
• Ability to develop and implement individualized interventions
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Complete assessments to determine student needs and eligibility for OT services
• Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based therapy interventions and strategies tailored to student goals
• Document session notes, progress reports, and IEP-related paperwork accurately and timely
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute therapy-related recommendations
• Provide training and support to staff on classroom modifications and strategies
• Adapt approach to address diverse learning and physical abilities within the school context
