Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and devising individualized treatment strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions, either in partnership with supervising physicians or autonomously, depending on your qualifications
• Educating individuals and their families about wellness, disease prevention, and management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies consistent with your certified scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care management
• Working collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams to ensure cohesive, comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) awarded
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Tennessee
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or its equivalent via AANP or ANCC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
