Sales Executive

This position is responsible for direct sales activity within an assigned territory. This position is based within one of Eurofins E&E's electrical testing laboratories with travel to support customers, develop business, support trade shows, and events as needed up to 50%. This position reports to the Sales Manager or the Sales Director, dependent upon the structure. Examples of work include working with Sales Manager to define and develop territory to increase new and existing sales, growth of new and existing business, primarily accounts with 11-99K in revenue per year, performing client research, prospecting, and networking, collaborating with Marketing Department for strategic positioning, attending/participating in trade shows, creating and facilitating client presentations, maintaining quote/order levels, preparing sales reports and forecasts and writing and following up on proposals, maintaining sales database, following through on sales transactions, specifying appropriate standards, price and credit terms, and performing other work as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ year's successful account management or sales experience.
• Must be self-motivated and assertive and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and superior presentation skills
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must possess strong organizational and time management skills
• Working knowledge of computer systems (i.e., Microsoft Office) is essential
• Experience working with diverse teams (engineering, operations, marketing) is preferred
• Business to business sales experience is preferred
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Physical dexterity/mobility to travel via car, airplane and perform all clerical functions inherent to the position
