Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sheetfed Offset Press Operator with hands-on experience operating an 8-color or larger Heidelberg UV sheetfed press .

This is a hands-on manufacturing-floor position for someone who can independently operate, set up, and run a Heidelberg press with minimal to no instruction. The ideal candidate has strong experience with UV printing, make-ready, color matching, press setup, troubleshooting, and production quality .

Core Responsibilities

• Operate 8-color or larger Heidelberg UV sheetfed offset presses
• Set up and run Heidelberg Speedmaster presses according to job specifications
• Perform press make-ready, setup, adjustments, and changeovers
• Match and maintain accurate colors throughout production
• Monitor print quality, registration, color consistency, and press performance
• Troubleshoot press, ink, paper, plate, and print-quality issues
• Review job specifications and ensure production requirements are met
• Maintain production speed and quality while minimizing waste and downtime
• Perform routine press maintenance and keep the press and work area clean and organized
• Work with production and quality teams to resolve issues
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
• Help train and support other press operators as needed
• Maintain flexibility to assist with other shifts when required

Required Experience

• Must have personally operated an 8-color Heidelberg UV sheetfed press
• Hands-on experience operating Heidelberg Speedmaster presses
• Experience with models such as:
  • Heidelberg XL 105
  • Heidelberg XL 75
  • Heidelberg CD 102
  • Heidelberg SM 102
• Experience operating 8-color or larger sheetfed offset presses
• Strong UV printing and UV curing experience
• Proven make-ready and press setup experience
• Strong color matching and color control skills
• Ability to troubleshoot press and print-quality issues independently
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Experience

• Lead Pressman / First Pressman experience
• Folding carton or packaging printing experience
• Commercial offset printing experience
• Experience training or mentoring other press operators
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Prepress or packaging graphics experience is a plus
