Respiratory Therapist

Adult Respiratory Care Practitioner - Per Diem
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 06:00 PM - 06:30 AM
The Adult Respiratory Care Practitioner will be responsible for providing specialized respiratory care to adult patients. The practitioner will work within a per diem capacity to support patient needs during assigned shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care practices.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Valid Respiratory Care license or certification.
- Completion of Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
- Proof of mandatory vaccinations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap) and tests (Fit Test, TB Test).
- Driver's License or State ID.
- Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies and Skills Checklists.
- Background checks and drug screenings as required.
