Position Overview  

We are seeking a dedicated Attorney to join our General Liability Team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of civil litigation matters while developing expertise in insurance defense law.

Key Responsibilities

-Manage comprehensive case files, including conducting legal research, discovery, and factual investigations

-Review and analyze medical records and detailed medical chronologies

-Draft legal documents including memoranda, pleadings, motions, briefs, and case progress reports

-Represent clients at depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials

-Maintain accurate and contemporaneous time records for all billable activities in accordance with firm policies and client requirements

-Meet established billable hour targets while ensuring quality and efficiency in all work product

-Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

-Collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure optimal case outcomes

-Stay current on relevant legal developments and industry trends

Qualifications

-3+ years of civil litigation experience

-Strong organizational and time management skills

-Excellent oral and written communication abilities

-Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software

-A robust work ethic and commitment to excellence

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience in insurance defense litigation

-Trial experience 

-Familiarity with motor vehicle and premises liability matters
