Collaborate with industry leaders to drive business success.Job DescriptionInsurance Manager OverviewThe Insurance Manager will oversee life, disability, long-term care insurance, and annuity operations within a dynamic wealth management firm.Lead underwriting, placement, and illustration production for diverse insurance and annuity products, ensuring efficiency and compliance.Develop and manage a high-performing team, fostering professional growth and service excellence.Provide training programs to enhance staff and advisor knowledge of insurance and annuity solutions.Drive business development initiatives, expanding insurance and annuity offerings and building industry relationships.Support financial advisors in selecting suitable insurance and annuity solutions for their clients.Contribute to the growth of a high-potential insurance division within a leading wealth management firm.Insurance Manager Key Responsibilities & DutiesDesign and optimize underwriting and placement processes for insurance and annuity solutions.Collaborate with carriers to secure competitive rates and favorable terms for clients.Oversee the creation of accurate and compelling insurance and annuity illustrations.Recruit, train, and manage a team of insurance professionals, promoting collaboration and development.Develop training programs to enhance staff and advisor expertise in insurance and annuities.Identify opportunities for business growth and build relationships with industry partners.Provide expert guidance to financial advisors on insurance and annuity product selection.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.Insurance Manager Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field; advanced credentials like CLU, ChFC, CFP preferred.Minimum 8 years of experience in life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care, and annuities.Proven expertise in underwriting, placement, and illustration production for insurance products.Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and development.Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.Strategic thinking and business development capabilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for advisor and partner engagement.
