Interventional Technologist

Role Overview: Responsible for performing Angiography procedures, including scrubbing, setting techniques, and capturing images, to support diagnostic and interventional imaging services. Key Responsibilities Assist during procedures by acting as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech, ensuring adherence to policies and safety standards. Operate IR equipment and information systems to produce high-quality images. Prepare patients, verify identification, obtain consent, and ensure comfort and safety, following radiation safety guidelines. Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient reactions, and incidents. Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with healthcare team members. At the conclusion of procedures, manage hemostasis through sheath management or pressure application. Qualifications & Skills Current licensure and certifications such as ARRT, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS (for pediatric cases). 1-2 years of Angio/interventional experience for entry to mid-level; 2+ years for advanced roles. Strong understanding of anatomy, sterile techniques, and radiation safety. Ability to respond to emergent situations, communicate effectively, and work independently or collaboratively. Manual dexterity and physical ability to handle equipment, assist with patient transfers, and navigate busy environments. Preferred Qualifications: Vascular/Interventional radiography certification; bachelor's degree (for senior roles).
