Key Responsibilities: Lead prototype development and production 5-axis programming Work with engineers on custom projects Program and operate CNC machines for complex parts Program complex parts using provided CAD/CAM software Inspection using manual gauges and instruments Understanding of GD&T and ability to read 2-D drawings Monitor an inspect the part throughout the machining process Observe all company quality and safety procedures Communicates and collaborates with team members in the sharing of information and solving technical issues Participates in Lean manufacturing events Team Lead(Optional):Oversee team of machinist, provide technical direction, and manage projects Qualifications/Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Associate degree in a relevant field or (5+) years of experience Expertise in CNC programming, 5-axis machining Ability to read and interpret complex technical specifications Expertise in working with exotic materials and tight tolerances Strong work ethic and high attention to detail Flexible, ability to work in a fast-pace team environment Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information Team Lead(Optional):Experience mentoring or supervision junior staff, leadership skill, experience managing projects or teams of varying skill level.
