As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor alarm panels, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 09:45 PM - 05:45 AM Tue 09:45 PM - 05:45 AM Wed 09:45 PM - 05:45 AM Thu 09:45 PM - 05:45 AM Fri 09:45 PM - 05:45 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests in accordance with established procedures. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Maintain accurate activity reports and communicate security-related observations, incidents, and policy concerns in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: Have at least two years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
