Medicap Home Medical is looking for a dependable, full-time Nurse Clinician for our Creston, IA location.

Successful candidates must be a nurse (RN or LPN) or a registered or certified respiratory therapist (RRT or CRT) with exceptional customer service skills, computer skills, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities include in person customer service, as well as answering phones, verifying insurance, ordering products, performing equipment set ups in store, communication with healthcare professionals and insurance billing. Criminal background check required. This position does require the ability to participate in an on-call rotation, which may require some evening or weekend hours during scheduled on-call rotation.

Candidates must be able to follow directions, be detail-oriented, and have basic competencies using a smartphone, iPad, and desktop computer.

As an accredited company, Medicap Home Medical requires that candidates successfully pass all required pre-employment screenings prior to starting employment. Required screenings for the Clinician position include a criminal background check, OIG Exclusions List screening, and driving record check.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Be a Nurse (RN or LPN) or a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
• Strong Communication Skills.
• Attention to Detail.
• Ability to work with others as a team to ensure patient satisfaction and a pleasant, professional work environment.
• Ability to multi task.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic competencies using a smartphone, iPad, and desktop computer.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
• Clean driving record
• Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
