Impact You’ll Make

As a Managing Director in Commercial Litigation, you will lead complex dispute consulting engagements and serve as a senior advisor to clients, legal counsel, and expert witnesses. You will be responsible for client relationships, expert work, team leadership, and the continued growth of the practice.

• Lead significant commercial litigation and dispute consulting matters.
• Provide expert financial, accounting, economic, and damages analysis.
• Develop and maintain senior relationships with clients and legal counsel.
• Generate new business and expand the practice’s market presence.
• Lead and develop professionals across engagement teams.

What You’ll Do

• Lead engagements involving economic damages, lost profits, breach of contract, post-transaction disputes, business interruption, and other commercial matters.
• Develop case strategy with clients, counsel, and engagement teams.
• Direct financial modeling, damages calculations, accounting analysis, and industry research.
• Prepare or oversee expert reports, rebuttal reports, exhibits, and demonstratives.
• Provide expert testimony in depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials, as applicable.
• Evaluate opposing expert analyses, assumptions, and methodologies.
• Manage engagement scope, staffing, economics, timelines, and quality.
• Maintain executive-level client relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Lead proposals, presentations, publications, and market development efforts.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop professionals.
• Contribute to practice strategy, risk management, and operating priorities.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in commercial litigation, dispute consulting, forensic accounting, economics, or related advisory services.
• Significant experience leading complex disputes and expert engagements.
• Testifying experience preferred.
• Professional designation such as CPA, CFA, ASA, CFE, or ABV preferred.
• Demonstrated record of developing client relationships and generating revenue.
• Strong knowledge of damages theories, financial analysis, and litigation processes.
• Executive communication and team leadership skills.
• Experience managing large, multidisciplinary engagement teams.
