Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown

Registered Nurse Stepdown

Night shift from 1900 to 0730.

36 hours per week. Floating to different units may be required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required.
• Certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS.
• Skills: IV insertion, PICC/central line management, vascular device access/care, dialysis fistula management, A-line management.
• Preferred skills: CVP monitoring, obtaining 12 Lead EKG, sheath removal, and cardioversion/defibrillation.
• Airway management: CPAP/BiPAP, trach care.
• Required experience with epidural/PCA pumps, feeding tubes, and wound vacs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in a stepdown unit.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as needed.
• Manage vasoactive drip titration as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management.
