The Marquee Hotel in New Orleans is hiring Full-Time Housekeepers. As a housekeeper you will perform various hotel housekeeping services to maintain clean guest rooms according to established standards. This position is eligible for E - TIPS , allowing team members to earn extra pay through guest tips.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare all assigned units for guest arrival.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly manner.
• Report any maintenance problems.
• Maintain cleanliness of carts and ensure supplies and equipment are in a neat and orderly appearance.
• Assist management in maintaining inventory of linen and supplies.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by housekeeping management

Job Details:

Full-time team members are typically scheduled between 30-40 hours per week. This position requires weekend and holiday availability. A flexible schedule may also be needed to support business needs.

Qualifications

What are we looking for:

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience
• Open and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Able to bend, stoop, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull/ up to 100 lbs
• Work a full shift (8 hours) walking/standing with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Anticipates customer needs and thinks about how work impacts customers
• Builds confidence in self and others with honest and dependable interactions.
