Senior Associate AD, Integrated Health, Wellness and Sports Performance
The Senior Associate AD, Integrated Health, Wellness and Sports Performance serves as the primary administrative leader for all health, safety, and wellness functions within Syracuse University Athletics. This role provides executive-level oversight of all support service departments, including athletic training, strength & conditioning, sports nutrition, and mental health/sport psychology, as well as any additional health, safety, and wellness initiatives within the athletics department. This position may serve as the designated Athletics Health Care Administrator (AHCA), pending finalization of current organizational restructuring, and is responsible for ensuring all programs, services, and personnel operate in compliance with NCAA, ACC, and institutional health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in sports medicine, athletic training, health administration, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in NCAA Division I athletics or professional sports environment
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary health, safety, or performance departments
- Strong knowledge of NCAA health and safety regulations and Independent Medical Care guidelines
- CPR/AED certification required
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel as needed
