Job Opportunity – Cardiac Electrophysiologist – Arizona

Start Date: May 26, 2026

Location: Arizona

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Multiple week-long assignment blocks available from May through December. Shifts are 7:00am-5:00pm with 1 hour lunch. Volume includes 20-22 clinic patients daily, 3-4 hospital consults, and 4-6 electrophysiology cases per day depending on case complexity.

• Cardiac electrophysiology focus with emphasis on left-sided ablations and heart rhythm disturbances
• 268-bed hospital with established Cath Lab and EP program utilizing Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system
• Cerner EMR with mandatory 4-hour remote training (paid) prior to start
• Ongoing contract with flexible assignment blocks scheduled through year-end
• Combination of inpatient consultations, EP procedures, and outpatient clinic
• Overtime and holiday rates available at 1.5x normal compensation

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required
• Must demonstrate 100+ EP cases in last 2 years with emphasis on ablations
• Proficiency with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system required
• Must be comfortable performing moderate sedation independently and conducting TEEs
• Active Arizona medical license or willingness to obtain
• Arizona DEA registration required
• ACLS certification current
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
