Agile Developer 4 - (AWS, Java, Python)Software Architect who will own the design, delivery, and evolution of AWS infrastructure and associated application services. Candidate should blend deep AWS expertise with hands-on Java and Python development skills and mentor junior engineers while driving architectural best practices.Design & Blueprint – Create end to end, scalable, secure, and cost optimized architectures for event driven services, data pipelines, and search solutions on AWS.Hands On Development – Write production grade Java (Spring Boot) and Python (Lambdas) services that run as AWS Lambda functions or containerized workloads (Kubernetes).Infrastructure as Code – Define and maintain IaC, ensuring reproducibility and version control of the entire stack.Data & Messaging Layer – Architect and implement solutions leveraging DynamoDB, OpenSearch, SQS, SNS for high throughput, low latency data access and streaming.Observability & Reliability – Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting for CloudWatch and custom dashboards.CI/CD & DevSecOps - Be familiar with Gitlab pipeline, static code analysis, blue-green/canary deployments.Technical Leadership – Mentor 2 4 junior developers, conduct code reviews, run architecture deep dives, and champion best practice adoption (clean code, design patterns).Collaboration – Be able to communicate technical details / solutions as well as roadblocks to leadership and business stakeholders and provide robust solutions as needed.Documentation – Produce clear, up to date architectural diagrams, run books, and knowledge base articles to enable cross team consumption.Be able to prepare Standard Operating Procedure for frequently executed as well as on-call operations.Position Required Skills:Design scalable, secure, and cost-optimized architectures for event-driven services, data pipelines, and search solutions on AWS.Write production-grade Java (Spring Boot) and Python services for AWS Lambda functions or Kubernetes workloads.Define and maintain infrastructure as code for reproducible, version-controlled deployments.Architect solutions using DynamoDB, OpenSearch, SQS, and SNS for high-throughput, low-latency data access and streaming.Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with CloudWatch and custom dashboards.Use GitLab pipelines, static code analysis, and blue-green/canary deployments.Mentor 2-4 junior developers, conduct code reviews, run architecture deep dives, and promote best practices.Communicate technical solutions and roadblocks to leadership and business stakeholders.Produce architectural diagrams, run books, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.Position Desired Skills:Java, Spring Boot or PythonMicroservice architecturesCI/CD tools: AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, DockerDatabase: NoSQL / MongoDB query and schema designOAuth/OIDC implementation experienceTest frameworks and automation including Playwright and CucumberAD4 Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience.An Associate's degree plus 14 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 16 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.Ability to support an on-call rotation.Salary Range: $217k-$266k (Annually)The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
