Healthcare Delivery Team PositionJoin our healthcare delivery team to provide professional nursing care for clinic patients in our Heart Failure and Electrophysiology (EP) departments. You will work closely with physicians to ensure high-quality care, patient education, and efficient clinic flow.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients for exams, take vital signs/histories, and assist with 12-lead EKGs and treadmill tests.Aid physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.Administer prescribed medications and treatments; observe and document patient reactions.Maintain accurate patient charts, records, test results, and telephone call logs.Screen clinical phone calls, route triage questions, and provide detailed patient/family education.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited school of nursing (LPN program).Current Alaska State LPN license.Current CPR certification required; ACLS certification preferred.Cardiology experience is highly preferred.Skills & RequirementsKnowledge of cardiac rhythm recognition and basic pharmacology.Skill in vital signs, EKG equipment, and sample collection.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.Strong multitasking, stress management, and clear communication skills.Employee BenefitsComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.401(k) plan and Profit Sharing.HSA, FSA, and Life Insurance.Wellness Program and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Paid Time Off (starting up to 5.84 hours per pay period).8 paid holidays per year.
