As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be an integral part of a team providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns. This role requires a strong foundation in obstetric and nursery care, with the ability to independently manage labor, postpartum, and newborn care. You will work in a supportive environment that follows AWHONN guidelines, ensuring optimal nurse-to-patient ratios.

• Provide comprehensive care for laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns
• Administer and titrate medications such as Pitocin and Magnesium
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including OB/Neonatologists and Anesthesia
• Document and monitor fetal heart rates using the GE CPN monitor system
• Participate in block scheduling with flexible shift options
• Float to other departments as needed and assist as RN/CNA helpers
• Engage in a brief orientation to familiarize yourself with unit-specific protocols

Requirements:

• BSN required
• Current RN license
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, C-EFM
• Need 2-3 years of OB experience
• Experience with Neopuff- T Piece preferred
• COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
