Clinical Coordinator

Valleywise Health is seeking an exceptional Clinical Coordinator to lead the implementation of OASIS (Outreach, Assessment & Support for Intervention in Early Psychosis), an innovative program designed to identify, engage, and support young people experiencing early signs of psychosis before symptoms progress. This role offers the opportunity to build upon Valleywise Health's established First Episode Psychosis Centers of Excellence and help shape a comprehensive system of care that changes lives, strengthens families, and improves community wellness.


As Clinical Coordinator , you will serve as the operational leader of this groundbreaking initiative, overseeing program implementation, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, facilitating partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, crisis programs, and community organizations, and ensuring fidelity to evidence-based practices. The successful candidate will combine strong project management skills with a commitment to recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and youth-centered care. This position offers a rare opportunity to influence system-wide change while helping vulnerable young people access hope, support, and a pathway to recovery.

Annual Salary Range: $108,056.00 - $132,995.20

Qualifications

Education:

• Requires a master's degree in a Behavioral Health related field.

Experience:

• Requires four (4) years of experience providing mental health services that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Prefer prior direct or indirect supervisory experience.
• Prefer experience facilitating groups, providing individual counseling, and working with individuals and families who experience co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders.

Certification/Licensure:

• Must be a licensed by the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or must have either a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and be able to obtain a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within 36 months of employment in position.
• Must obtain fingerprint card as defined in Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S.) 36-425.03 and state licensing rule R9-10-1011(A)(4) within 90 days of employment.
• This position requires operation of a vehicle . Employment is contingent upon meeting the driving eligibility standards outlined in the Valleywise Health Vehicle Use Policy (VUP). Requires possession of , and ability to retain a current, valid AZ issued driver's license in good standing and must carry the AZ legally always required minimum insurance coverage on personal vehicle.
• Pursuant to Arizona Administrative Code R9-10-306 CHAPTER 10 of the Dept. of Health Services, personnel must be at least 21 years of age, or at least 18 years of age and licensed or certified under A.R.S. Title 32 and providing services within the personnel member's scope of practice.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Requires extensive knowledge and/or previous experience with the behavioral health service delivery model.
• Must have a strong understanding of trauma informed care, integrated care, Supported Employment, Permanent Supportive Housing, Family Psychoeducation, Integrated Treatment for Co-occurring Disorders, and Peer Support.
• Position requires travel throughout the community as needed.
• Must have the ability to supervise and coordinate the work of subordinate personnel in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale.
• Must be approachable, people oriented, and a good listener.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be a change agent able to develop, implement and maintain policies and processes.
• Requires the ability to be a creative, independent thinker.
• Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism, customer service, and enthusiasm.
• Must possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
• Bilingual is preferred.
