Job Title: Carpenter

Now hiring carpenters for a beach front property restoration project near Mount Pleasant, SC

Pay: $30-$35/hr based on experience! (more for great candidates)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Installer for a balcony and breezeway renovation project. This role requires precision, organization, and the ability to follow drawings and instructions while installing metal post systems and railing kits.

Responsibilities

• Install metal posts on balconies, ensuring proper leveling and alignment.
• Confirm correct posts are installed in the correct locations.
• Assemble railing kits made up of multiple components.
• Cut threaded rods to length and install per specifications.
• Secure posts using nuts and bolts, ensuring proper torque and alignment.
• Keep materials, hardware, and work areas organized.
• Follow provided drawings and installation plans.
• Work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction, blueprint reading, carpentry, or installation (metal, railing, or similar systems preferred).
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Ability to level and plumb posts and components.
• Experience working with nuts, bolts, and hardware systems.
• Comfortable assembling kits and following step-by-step installation processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must bring basic hand tools, including tape measure, hand tools, levels, and wrenches.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Basic hand tools are required, but saws and major power tools will be provided.

This is a Contract position based out of Mount Pleasant, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
