Registered Nurse, ER (Emergency Department) | Sonora, California, United States Travel - Temporary Assignment Weekly pay: $614-$636 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evenings, 12-hour shifts (3x12) Start date: 09/28/2026 Location: Sonora, CA, United States Setting: Acute care emergency department Responsibilities Provide coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment Deliver triage, treatment and supportive care for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans; communicate clearly with patients and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation; monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition Advocate for patient safety, adhere to infection control practices, and ensure continuity of care across shifts Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license (California) or eligibility to practice as required for this assignment Prior ER or acute care nursing experience preferred Ability to work evenings and 12-hour shifts; capable of coping with high-acuity, fast-paced environments Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; ability to coordinate care with diverse teams Eligibility to work in the United States; ability to commit to a 13-week assignment Demonstrated professionalism and adherence to established standards of practice and patient privacy Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Credentialing assistance and orientation Assignment support throughout the contract Potential extension opportunities within the network About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
