Radiologic Technologist- $20,000 SIGN-ON BONUS Posted on June 13, 2025 Location Arlington, VA 22201, USA Pay or shift range: $35-$45 per hour, based on experience and shift. Full-Time. Requisition #: RADIO029384. Description Provide mobile X‑Ray and EKG (if applicable) service to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. Responsibilities Perform and process X‑Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit or transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation. Unload portable X‑Ray equipment and transport it to facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician. Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent images. Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation (if required). Scan exam‑related paperwork and billing documents on a daily basis per protocol. Communicate regularly with dispatch and management. Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients. Maintain vehicle and x‑ray equipment. Login for self‑dispatching or call dispatch to obtain case load information. Arrive at the location with company vehicle and arrive at least 30 minutes early. Wear company uniform, name tag, radiation badge, and follow dress code. Carry the company‑provided phone. Respond to urgent communications within 15 minutes. Check voicemail/text messages from each facility after completing assigned cases, at least every 30 minutes. Check for available cases via self‑dispatch system and check in with dispatcher every 30 minutes. Verify orders against the patient’s chart; ensure correct patient identification. Ensure patient images are correctly labeled before telerad transmission. Practice proper radiation protection at all times. Adhere to drug‑free workplace policy and report changes to criminal background. Follow the Code of Conduct; maintain professional and ethical conduct. Record all hours worked accurately into timesheet. Maintain company vehicles in accordance with policies; obey traffic laws; pay all tickets. Provide medical physical examinations, TB screening at hire and annually; provide documentation within two weeks of intake. Required Skills Maintain required state licenses and/or ARRT certification, health requirements, and operational requirements. Valid driver’s license in the applicable state, in good standing at all times. Attend meetings as required. Connect and disconnect Holter monitors (if required). Care for equipment; report malfunctions immediately. Perform special projects or other duties assigned by supervisor or manager. Train other technologists as required. Self‑motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Qualifications ARRT: R.T.-R certification required.
