Private Equity Associate, Infrastructure

A private equity firm focused on infrastructure investing is seeking an Associate to join its sustainability and climate-oriented investment team. The role will focus on evaluating, executing, and managing investments across core and value-add infrastructure assets, with a particular emphasis on energy transition and climate-aligned strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the origination, evaluation, and execution of infrastructure investments across sustainability and climate-focused sectors, including renewable energy, energy transition, utilities, transportation, and digital infrastructure
• Build and maintain detailed financial models for project-level and corporate infrastructure investments, including cash flow forecasting and return analysis
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including commercial, financial, regulatory, and operational assessment of target assets and platforms
• Develop investment theses and support sector mapping across infrastructure and climate-related themes
• Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and transaction documentation
• Assist with structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions alongside senior team members
• Monitor portfolio company performance and support ongoing value creation initiatives, including operational and ESG-related improvements
• Contribute to exit strategy development and execution, including refinancings and asset sales
