Additional Info Title: Infectious Diseases ResearchPharmacotherapy Fellowship Description This one-year research-intensivefellowship position will focus on translational, clinical, andoutcomes research. Research is conducted in collaboration withexpert faculty researchers from the University of Houston Collegeof Pharmacy. The fellow will learn in vitro microbiologytechniques, molecular biology including PCR and DNA sequencing, andclinical research skills including execution of prospective cohortstudies and clinical trials. Grant and manuscript preparationskills will be developed, and the fellow will be expected to leadand develop at least one independent research project. Qualifications/requirements Doctor of Pharmacy degree 2 letters of recommendations MQ: Requires singular knowledge of a specialized advanced professional discipline or the highest level of general business knowledge, normally acquired through attainment of a directly job-related terminal degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
