Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, demonstrating the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient management.
• Participate in department initiatives and training programs.

Schedule

Flexible shift options are available, including:

• 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
• 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM

This position requires availability for every other weekend.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience.
• Current New Jersey RN License.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• ATCN or TNCC certification required.
• EPIC experience highly preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
