Facilities Service Company , a leader in commercial cleaning and facility services, is seeking an experienced Janitorial Operations Manager to provide leadership, coaching, and operational oversight for multiple cleaning operations across our service area.

This is a senior-level field leadership position responsible for supporting and developing Site Supervisors, improving workforce performance, ensuring consistent service delivery, and maintaining operational excellence across multiple customer locations. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who excels at managing supervisors, leading large frontline workforces, solving operational challenges, and driving accountability through others.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Site Supervisors overseeing multiple customer locations
• Mentor supervisors to improve leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and operational performance
• Support supervisors in staffing, training, retention, attendance management, and employee development
• Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement
• Assist supervisors in addressing employee relations concerns, performance issues, and operational challenges
• Build strong, high-performing teams through effective leadership and communication

Operations Management

• Ensure all services are delivered according to contract specifications and Statements of Work (SOW)
• Maintain operational consistency, service quality, and workforce productivity across multiple sites
• Monitor labor utilization, staffing levels, attendance trends, and operational performance metrics
• Implement company policies, procedures, and service standards
• Collaborate with senior leadership on operational improvement initiatives
• Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively to ensure uninterrupted service delivery

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Conduct site inspections using technology-based quality assurance systems
• Drive continuous improvement in quality inspection scores and service performance
• Ensure compliance with company safety programs, customer requirements, and regulatory standards
• Support incident investigations and corrective action initiatives as needed
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence

Multi-Site Leadership

• Oversee operations across multiple facilities and customer locations
• Travel regularly between assigned job sites during each shift
• Coordinate workforce planning and coverage strategies through supervisory teams
• Monitor operational performance and provide real-time support to field leadership
• Ensure consistency in execution across all assigned locations

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree Required (Bachelor's Degree Preferred)
• 2 to 5 years of management experience leading supervisors, managers, or multi-site operations
• Experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, facility services, hospitality, food service, logistics, property management, or other labor-intensive service industries
• Demonstrated success managing operations through supervisory teams
• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
• Stable employment history with proven career progression
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing multi-site operations
• Experience with workforce scheduling and labor management
• Experience using technology-based inspection or performance management systems
• CRM or operational software experience
• Strong understanding of employee retention and workforce engagement strategies
