Work Environment\nThis position is offered in a remote setting, providing you the flexibility needed to balance your professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and treatment goals of individuals seeking help with substance use disorders. \n
- Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient. \n
- Facilitate individual counseling sessions, utilizing approaches such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to encourage positive behavioral changes. \n
- Lead engaging group therapy sessions that foster community support and provide patients with the tools to navigate their recovery journey collaboratively. \n
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure integrated care that addresses all aspects of a patient's well-being. \n
- Provide critical crisis intervention support during substance-related emergencies, helping to stabilize patients and direct them toward appropriate resources. \n
- Educate patients and their families about the complexities of addiction and available recovery strategies, empowering them with knowledge for informed decision-making. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines using electronic health record (EHR) systems. \n
- Participate actively in clinical team meetings, case consultations, and your own professional development, staying current with the latest research and treatment modalities in substance use disorder care. \n
Your primary focus will be on adults and adolescents struggling with substance use disorders. As you work with this population, you will encounter a diverse array of individuals each facing unique challenges related to addiction, including co-occurring mental health issues. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program. \n
- Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey. \n
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and recovery-oriented care practices. \n
- Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy in an addiction treatment setting. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to maintaining a non-judgmental and compassionate approach. \n
- Ability to adhere to ethical guidelines and uphold patient confidentiality while managing professional boundaries. \n
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and basic computer applications for documentation and communication. \n
- Strong team collaboration skills, ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment. \n

- A minimum of one year of direct clinical experience working with individuals in substance use disorder treatment. \n
- Familiarity with specific therapeutic frameworks, research, and advancements related to addiction and recovery. \n
The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, supplemented by performance-based bonuses and a potential sign-on bonus.
